Never shake a baby

Whatever your circumstance, or how long s/he’s been crying, there is no excuse for shaking a baby. Read some constructive ways to cope by clicking here.

Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) is serious. One in five babies who are shaken will die. Others will be blinded, paralyzed and brain damaged.

Pass the word along. Though mothers spend the most time caring for their baby, they certainly aren’t the most common perpetrators (75% are male, dads and boyfriends mostly, and 10-20% are care providers). Share the article on ways of coping with your partner and your child’s caregiver and let them no physical force is never OK to use on a child of any age.
